<title>Tough Commute</title>
<link>http://www.bizwarcho.com/blogs/blog.ozzy.php#391</link>
<description>Picture this. There's a broken water main this morning on the road right outside my house and therefore a virtual river is running down the street. My commute is usually really easy, I mean I literally only have to sprint across 4 lanes to get to work but this morning I somehow have to cross what more appropriately resembles the Nile while wearing 4" heels. So instead of darting across traffic like I usually do I decide to play it safe and to cross at the lights instead. Well the light changes, I get about three steps into the intersection and the muddy river gets the better of me. I go flying forward on my knees and land with a slash into a very deep puddle. I hear a clicking noise behind me and see flashes of lights so I turn my head to find that some guy is actually taking pictures of me lying in the puddle (I'm so going to end up on one of those priceless emails) while another guy is filming me with his camera on a tripod. Finally I succumbed to the pain and release an audible groan. I cannot even begin to move when a voice behind me asks in a very sweet Irish accent "Are you alright Deary? Can you not get up?" Then someone proceeds to haul me to my feet and begins dragging me across the street. I look up to find that a very cute guy is my savior and I tell him "Oh god this is embarrassing .... thanks I just work right there," as I point to the enormous sign. To my horror he declares "Well I'm headin' there me-self," as he grabs my elbow and helps me along the way into the building and into the elevator. Once inside I say "uhhhhhh you don't work here do you?" because honestly I have never seen him before in my life. Nope thankfully he doesn't ... he's just an auditor. Now I'm sitting here all damp and in a whole lot of pain trying to decide who's going to have the pleasure of walking me home tonight so I don't end up on my a$$ again.</description>
